You Know the Pattern.
You’re Ready for Something to Change.
“I can see the pattern. Why am I still doing it?”
Maybe there have been years of therapy, books, podcasts, and trying to do things differently. Real progress, too. And still, a hard conversation, a child’s meltdown, or someone’s disappointment can bring back that familiar urge to fix everything, shut down, or push harder.
It’s exhausting to be so aware and still feel caught in it.
From the outside, things may look handled. Inside, there’s a running list, a body that rarely relaxes, and the feeling that dropping one thing will let someone down. Even a quiet moment can fill with guilt about what should be getting done.
Then the frustration spills out at home. Patience runs thin. Connection feels like one more thing there isn’t enough energy for. Later comes the replay: “Why did I say that? Am I doing the same things I promised myself I wouldn’t?”
It can hurt deeply to care this much and still feel so far from how you want to show up.
I want to acknowledge how much effort has already gone into getting here. Recognizing painful family patterns, questioning what once felt normal, and trying to make different choices can be lonely work. Especially when being responsible for everyone else has left little room to feel supported yourself.
That effort matters. So does the exhaustion of feeling like change is another thing to get right.
In our work together, there’s room for all of it: the love and resentment, the progress and frustration, the parts that keep pushing and the parts that are tired of being strong.
I blend talk therapy with somatic, body-based practices to help women and moms understand these responses, recognize what happens in the body as stress builds, and practice responding with more choice. We work at a pace that respects what it has taken to get here.
The hope is practical and personal: being able to say what’s needed before reaching a breaking point. Resting without having to earn it. Feeling closer to the people you love, with enough room to be a person with needs, feelings, and hopes of your own.

How We Work Together
-
1. A free consultation
We start with a free 20-minute call to talk about what’s bringing you in, answer your questions, and see if we’re a good fit.
-
2. Building safety first
Early sessions focus on helping your nervous system settle, so you have more capacity before we explore anything painful.
-
3. Change you can feel
Over time, we work with the patterns themselves, so you can respond differently at home, at work, and in your relationships.
Hi, I’m Gina
I’m a trauma therapist and somatic practitioner with 20 years of experience helping women understand how patterns shaped by their families, relationships, and life experiences affect how they feel, connect, care for themselves, and relate to the world around them.
Earlier in my own life, anxiety, burnout, and old family patterns shaped how I moved through the world. I was responsible, capable, and outwardly functional while feeling tense, depleted, and disconnected underneath. What helped wasn’t trying harder or thinking my way out of it. It was learning to work with my nervous system, not against it.
That journey fuels my mission: to help women and moms become the ones who change the story. When old patterns lose their grip, you get to choose how you care for yourself, how you show up in relationships, and how you parent, from a place of strength instead of survival.
I don’t believe in pushing people past their capacity or rushing insight before the body feels safe. I believe in steady, sustainable change that helps you reconnect with yourself and move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and choice.
What Is Somatic Therapy?
-
Healing from the inside out
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to mental health that focuses on how trauma and stress are held in the nervous system. Instead of only talking about your experiences, we pay attention to physical sensations, patterns of tension, and emotional responses to support healing from the inside out.
-
It may be a good fit if you:
Feel stuck despite years of talk therapy
Experience anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout
Have a history of trauma or chronic stress
Feel disconnected from your body or emotions
Struggle with regulation, shutdown, or reactivity
Are ready to break generational cycles
What Becomes Possible
-
Healing doesn’t mean becoming a different person. It means your nervous system no longer has to run the show. As the work settles in, many women begin to notice:
-
A pause before you react
You catch yourself before snapping, and when you don’t, repair comes more easily.
-
Rest without guilt
Your body begins to recognize that slowing down is safe, not lazy or selfish.
-
More choice in your life
You decide what you say yes to, what you say no to, which relationships get your energy, and what you show up for.
-
Feeling good in your body
Less tension and bracing, steadier energy, and more ease in how you move through your day.
-
More of who you really are
You become the version of yourself you want to be, living by your own values instead of old patterns, with room for the joy that’s been buried under holding it all together.
-
Change at your own pace
Change happens at the pace your body can hold, and it adds up.
