Become the One
Who Changes the Story
A 6-week guided Circle for women ready to understand the patterns they've inherited, change the ones keeping them stuck, and create a different path forward with more self-trust, connection, and choice.
You might recognize yourself here
Maybe you're carrying more than your share of the emotional and practical load, and it's been that way for so long you barely notice anymore. Or maybe you notice it every single day.
- Overthinking conversations and decisions long after they're over
- Struggling to rest without a wave of guilt showing up right behind it
- People-pleasing, or going quiet to avoid conflict
- Feeling responsible for everyone else's emotions in the room
- Repeating a pattern in your relationships that you promised yourself you'd changed
- Snapping, shutting down, or feeling guilty afterward with your kids, partner, or parents
- Holding yourself to a standard no one could actually meet
- Feeling disconnected from your own needs, boundaries, or sense of self
- Understanding your patterns in your head, but still feeling them take over in the moment
- Dreading a family gathering because you already know the role you'll be expected to play
- Wanting to feel close to the people you love without losing yourself in the process
None of this means something is wrong with you. It means there's a pattern worth understanding.
Many of these patterns began as ways of protecting yourself, staying connected, or managing what felt like too much. They may have helped you belong, avoid conflict, keep the peace, or take care of the people around you.
The goal isn't to judge those patterns, or to blame the people who came before you.
It's to understand what you learned, recognize what's still shaping your reactions, and create more choice in what happens next.
What the Cycle-Breaker Circle is
The Cycle-Breaker Circle is a live, experiential psychoeducational group. Each week brings together education, guided reflection, and meaningful conversation, bringing our practices together to help you notice your patterns as they happen and begin responding to them differently.
This isn't a Circle where you'll sit and listen for 90 minutes. You'll have real opportunities to explore your own patterns and practice what you're learning, in the room, with support.
Information can help us understand why we react the way we do. But information alone doesn't always change what happens in the moment when your jaw tightens, your body braces, or an old protective response takes over.
The Circle brings understanding and experience together. You'll learn about inherited family patterns, protective responses, and the nervous system. You'll also have chances to notice how those patterns show up in your own body and life, practice new ways of responding, and connect with other women doing similar work.
This isn't about sharing every detail of your history. Participation and sharing are always your choice, and paced to what you have capacity for that day.
How the experiential work happens
Each week includes a mix of experiential exercises, tapping, somatic practices, guided reflection, and parts work among them. At times, Gina may invite a participant to volunteer for a guided exercise. While she works with one woman, the rest of the Circle can follow along, notice what resonates, and connect it back to their own experience.
You don't have to be the one being guided to get something from it. Hearing another woman put words to a familiar pattern, or watching her work through it, can bring awareness to something you've been carrying too. You may notice your own body responding, settling, or making a connection you hadn't quite named before.
There's something to doing this work together. We learn through our own experience, and we also learn through witnessing one another, and recognizing we aren't the only ones carrying these patterns.
Participation is always your choice. You decide what you share, and you're welcome to take part, follow along quietly, observe, or opt out of any exercise.
This could be the perfect time
The timing of this Circle is intentional.
We'll spend 6 weeks understanding the family patterns, protective reactions, and emotional roles that can get in the way of feeling connected to ourselves and the people we love. The Circle ends on November 6, just before the holiday season begins.
You'll enter the season with more awareness of what tends to activate you, practical ways to work with your nervous system, and more choice in how you respond when familiar family dynamics show up.
The goal isn't perfectly peaceful holidays, or never feeling triggered again. It's recognizing what's happening sooner, staying more connected to yourself, and responding in ways that feel more aligned with the woman you're becoming.
Inside the 6-week Circle
Here's the shape the six weeks will take together. Each week builds on the one before it.
Recognizing What You've Been Carrying
Explore the patterns, roles, beliefs, and stories that may have been passed down through your family or reinforced through your life.
Understanding the Patterns That Learned to Protect You
Explore patterns like overfunctioning, perfectionism, people-pleasing, reactivity, emotional shutdown, and feeling responsible for everyone else.
When the Body Responds Before the Mind Can Catch Up
Learn how protective patterns live in the nervous system and body, and begin noticing your own signs of bracing, activation, overwhelm, or disconnection.
How Old Patterns Show Up in Present Relationships
Explore how inherited and learned patterns can affect parenting, partnerships, boundaries, communication, self-worth, and the roles we take on in our families.
Releasing What No Longer Belongs in Your Story
Use tapping, somatic practices, parts work, and reflection to begin loosening old beliefs, emotional roles, and burdens that no longer fit the life you want to create.
Becoming More Intentional About What Comes Next
Bring the pieces together and create a personal Cycle-Breaker Plan for moving forward with more awareness, self-trust, connection, and choice.
Six weeks won't resolve every pattern. What it will give you is real awareness, practical tools, more capacity, a supportive circle of women, and a clear plan for continuing the work on your own.

Why I created this Circle
I created this Circle because I believe something with my whole heart:
Every family carries patterns.
Some bring us closer together. Some protect us. And some keep us stuck.
Whether your relationship with your family has been loving, complicated, painful, or somewhere in between, we all inherit ways of thinking, feeling, coping, and relating that were shaped long before we arrived.
Some of those patterns serve us. Some don't.
I've experienced this in my own life, not only as a therapist, but as a woman and a mom. I learned that love alone doesn't automatically change old patterns. The things we haven't worked through have a way of showing up in our reactions, relationships, parenting, and the stories we tell ourselves.
My kids are a big part of why I do this work. They're the reason I kept going deeper into understanding these patterns, and why I've come to believe this matters in every relationship, not only in parenting, but in how we show up for everyone we love.
It means we're human. And it also means we have a choice.
I created this Circle because women deserve a place to grow, learn, and find themselves again. A place to understand these patterns, work with what their bodies and nervous systems have been carrying, and practice something different, so they can build the life they actually want and deserve. We shouldn't have to figure all of this out alone.
This isn't about blaming our parents or trying to become perfect. It's about awareness, repair, and choice.
This Circle has been a long time in the making, and it's taken on a few different iterations along the way. I'm genuinely excited to finally offer it, and to be part of building this community with you.
Gina Watkins, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, somatic therapist, and cycle-breaking mom with about 20 years of experience supporting women.
An invitation to the Founding Circle
This first Cycle-Breaker Circle has been a long time in the making.
I want the women who step into it first to feel like founding members of something meaningful. This is more than a 6-week program. It's the beginning of a growing community of women choosing to change the story.
As a thank-you for helping bring this first Circle to life, enrollment is $397 through September 10. That's $100 less than the regular $497 tuition.
There's no pressure to rush into a decision. I want you to read through the details, listen to yourself, and decide whether this feels like the right next step. If it does, I'd be honored to have you with us.

Questions before you enroll
What kind of experience is the Cycle-Breaker Circle?
It's a live, experiential psychoeducational group. It combines education with guided reflection, conversation, and several different experiential exercises, giving you real opportunities to apply what you're learning, not just listen to it.
Do I need to be a mother to join?
No. This Circle is for women. Mothers are encouraged to join, but motherhood is certainly not a requirement.
Do I need previous experience with tapping, somatic work, or parts work?
No previous experience is needed. Gina will introduce and guide every practice in an accessible way, step by step.
Will I have to share personal experiences with the Circle?
No. Sharing and participation are always voluntary. You decide what you want to share, and you're welcome to participate, tap along, observe, or opt out of any exercise.
What happens if I miss a live session?
There are no makeup sessions. Since only the lesson portion of each session is recorded, if you miss one, you're welcome to request a transcript of that session's lesson so you can catch up on what was covered.
Do past participants get a discount on future Circles?
Yes. If you've already taken this Circle, you're welcome to join a future one at a discounted rate.
Will sessions be recorded?
The education piece of each session is recorded, and those lessons are sent out to the Circle afterward. To honor everyone's privacy, the participation portion, where everyone is doing the exercises and discussion together, isn't recorded.
How much time should I plan for between sessions?
There's no specific homework assigned between sessions. Practicing what you're learning, especially any mindfulness practices introduced in the Circle, is encouraged to help you get the most out of the program.
Can I participate while I'm also in individual therapy?
Yes. Many women take part in this Circle while also working with their own individual therapist. This Circle isn't a replacement for individual mental health care.
How will privacy be handled?
Confidentiality and respect for every woman in the Circle matter, and you'll receive a full participation agreement with privacy expectations after you enroll, before the Circle begins.
Who is this Circle not designed for?
This Circle isn't designed for someone currently in an acute mental health crisis, needing emergency support, or needing a higher level of individualized mental health care. It also isn't the right fit for someone looking for a passive class without reflection or practice.
Are payment plans available?
I don't want cost to be the reason you can't join. If a payment plan would help, reach out directly and we'll work something out together.
What is the refund or cancellation policy?
There are no refunds. You have 24 hours after payment to cancel. After that, enrollment is final.
When does the Founding Circle rate end?
The $397 Founding Circle rate is available through September 10, 2026. Beginning September 11, tuition is $497.
What happens after I enroll?
You'll receive a welcome email and a participation agreement, along with all the details for joining our first call. You'll also receive your materials and next steps.
You don't have to keep carrying every pattern simply because it was handed to you.
Changing the story doesn't require perfection. It begins with awareness, support, practice, and the willingness to choose something different. When women do this work together, the effects reach beyond the individual. They shape our relationships, our families, and our communities.
Join the Founding CircleCome as you are. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.
