Services and Specialties

I offer individual therapy rooted in somatic, trauma-informed care—designed to support women, especially moms, navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and healing from past wounds.

Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply ready to deepen your connection to yourself and your life, I meet you where you are with warmth, attunement, and personalized support.

  • For clients seeking deeper transformation in less time, intensives offer a focused two or three extended deep-dive sessions (3 to 4 hours each) tailored to your unique needs and intentions to dive into longstanding patterns, attachment wounds, emotional blocks, or life transitions. Intensives are ideal for women ready to move through stuckness and into clarity and empowerment.

  • What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy is a gentle, body-based approach to healing.

If talk therapy hasn’t felt like enough — maybe you see your patterns but still feel stuck — somatic therapy might be the missing piece.

If you’ve ever said, “I know where it comes from, but I don't know what to do,” you’re not alone — and you’re not doing anything wrong. Sometimes, insight alone isn’t enough to heal what’s living in the body.

Somatic Therapy offers a different path. “Somatic” simply means of the body. This approach invites you to tune into your body’s subtle cues — like tension, tightness, numbness, or that wired-but-tired feeling — to help release stress and trauma that talking alone can’t always reach.

Rather than pushing through or analyzing, we slow down and gently explore how your nervous system has learned to protect you. Together, we create space for your body to feel safe again, so you can soften old survival patterns and begin to feel more grounded, connected, and present in your life.

You don’t need any prior experience — just a little curiosity and a willingness to go at your own pace. Many clients share that this work helped them feel more like themselves again — in their body, in their relationships, and in their day-to-day life.

  • What is Mindfulness—and Why It Matters for You

Mindfulness isn’t about being perfectly calm or having an empty mind. It’s about learning to notice—your thoughts, your body, your breath, your emotions—without judgment. It’s a gentle practice of coming home to yourself, again and again.

For many of the women I work with—mothers, cycle-breakers, and those moving through major life transitions—mindfulness becomes a lifeline. It helps you:

    • Slow down when everything feels overwhelming

    • Recognize your triggers before you spiral

    • Be more present with your kids, your partner, and yourself

    • Respond instead of react

    • Reconnect with your body and nervous system

Even just a few moments of mindful awareness each day can shift how you feel in your body, how you speak to yourself, and how you move through the world. It’s not about doing it perfectly. It’s about building a new relationship with your inner world—one rooted in curiosity, compassion, and presence.

In our work together, I’ll guide you through simple, approachable mindfulness tools that help regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and bring more steadiness into your everyday life.

  • Healing the Past Through Brain + Body

Trauma isn’t just something that happened to you; it’s something that lives in your nervous system. Whether the wounds trace back to childhood or stem from more recent events, their echoes can surface as anxiety, numbness, health issues, or flashbacks that hijack your day.

    My Somatic, Brain‑Wise Approach

I blend trauma‑informed talk therapy with somatic practices, EFT tapping, and nervous‑system regulation. Together, we help your brain understand the story and your body release the stored survival energy—so you feel safe, steady, and whole again.

Traumas I Commonly Help Women Heal

    • Emotional or physical abuse (past or present)

    • Childhood neglect or family dysfunction

    • Pregnancy or birth trauma

    • Medical emergencies, accidents, or chronic illness

    • Grief and complicated loss

    • Witnessing violence or growing up with chaos

    • Life transitions that retrigger old wounds

No trauma is “too small” to matter; if it still hurts, it deserves care.

  • Calm Your Mind, Soothe Your Body

Anxiety can show up in so many ways: racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, irritability, tightness in the chest, difficulty concentrating, or a constant sense that something bad is about to happen. For many women, it can feel like you're always bracing for impact—on edge, exhausted, and unable to fully exhale.

Anxiety isn’t “just in your head.” It’s often a sign that your nervous system is overwhelmed or stuck in survival mode. Sometimes it’s connected to old patterns, past trauma, or life transitions. Sometimes it builds slowly from stress, overcommitment, or never feeling like you can truly rest.

In our work together, we’ll start by understanding your unique experience of anxiety—where it shows up in your body, how it affects your thoughts, and how it’s been trying to protect you. I’ll teach you how your nervous system works, and together we’ll use somatic tools and evidence-based practices to help regulate your system and gently rewire the stress response.

You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of your body’s signals, tools to calm anxious patterns in real-time, and the ability to respond with more clarity, confidence, and care. With the right support, freedom from anxiety is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.

Therapy for Depression — Reclaim Energy, Connection, and Hope

Depression can feel like a weight you carry quietly, even while managing everything and everyone around you. You might find yourself moving through the motions—exhausted, disconnected, tearful for no clear reason, or numb to the things you used to care about. You may feel isolated, ashamed for not feeling “grateful enough,” or overwhelmed by guilt for how you show up (or don’t) for the people you love.

If you're in the postpartum period, these feelings can be especially disorienting. You love your baby deeply and still feel lost, anxious, depleted, or like a stranger in your own life.

You are not broken—and you are not alone.

Depression can arise from emotional suppression, chronic stress, burnout, or unresolved trauma. Sometimes it begins in childhood or adolescence. Other times, it surfaces during big life transitions like motherhood, loss, or identity shifts. Depression doesn’t just live in your thoughts—it also lives in the body: in your breath, posture, nervous system, and sense of safety.

In our work together, we’ll create space to listen to what your symptoms may be trying to say. Using somatic therapy, nervous system support, and evidence-based mind-body tools, we’ll gently reconnect you with the parts of you that have felt hidden, hurt, or unheard.

This isn’t about pushing through or pretending everything is okay—it’s about tending to what needs care and allowing yourself to heal, with compassion and support.

You deserve to feel more like yourself again—steady, present, connected, and truly alive.
